Al-Mubashirina Maolid Nabbiy, a special day to remember

 It was a great atmosphere on Sunday January 1st, 2023. As Al-Mubashirina Muslim Society of Nigeria celebrated Her Maolid Nabbiy.

The celebration which was held in Olorire Compound, Alimi road, Alore, Ilorin, was attended by many prominent people in Ilorin and outside, and the programme was widely followed live on air, a provision made available by the society to reach well meaning people that wanted to attend but couldn't create time, to feel the touch of the event live.

The event was compere by Ustaz Dhikirullahi Olorire and Ustaz Daud Orimanro, they gave in an energetic display to make all attendees feel the aura of the event. The opening prayer was done by Sheikh Mahmud Olorire and Sheikh Hassan Olorire.

In the touch of event, the National Missioner, Sheikh Isiak Olohunfebe, made a presentation by taking special questions from audience on the Importance of Salat, which he categorically explained in great atmosphere.

The Amir of the Society, Sheikh Abdulquadri Olomigbona made a significant donation to the society, as a supportive resources in gearing and helping the financial constraints of the society.

A powerful lecture was given by the guest speaker, Sheikh Alh. Ibrahim Apana ( Ewa Islam), on the topic “Illicit Drug”. He gave a stern warning to Muslim Ummah especially the youths to desist from substances that refrain them from normal human appearance. He also appeals to the parents to always know the kind of groups and friends their children follows when they are in higher institution. In his appealing message to the government, he urged them to monitor dress code at all levels of education, as this have also been part of stimulant of drug abuse.

The closing prayer was done by Sheikh Ahmad Olomigbona, he prayed for Our Spiritual Father, Sheikh Muhammad Ballo Babaolomigbona, and also offered prayer to the guest speaker of the day. In his caring tone, he also prayed for the society as they have been putting things in right manner to lighten up the youths to know the importance of Islam.
